Every choice we make, even the smallest one, can make a big difference. At Eco-Baita Natura Spensierata, we firmly believe that an experience immersed in nature should also respect the environment that surrounds us.

Our little corner of paradise was designed from the very beginning with the goal of reducing its environmental impact. That is why one of our main aims has been to do everything possible to become plastic-free. Plastic is one of the great challenges of our time, which is why making responsible choices in this area is so important. Here is how, with your help too, we can contribute to a more sustainable future!

1. Plastic-free breakfast

At breakfast, you will find only fresh, homemade products, with no single-use plastic involved. Cakes made with organic ingredients and produce from our garden, homemade jams in reusable glass jars, honey and fresh products from small local producers, elderflower juice gathered from the surrounding woods, and much more.
Every morning, you can enjoy a sustainable breakfast, prepared with love and care for the environment, without food waste.

2. Plastic-free bathrooms

We have chosen to eliminate all single-use plastic bottles from our bathrooms. In our spaces, you will find dispensers for body care products, refilled with EcoCert detergents that have a low environmental impact. No more small plastic bottles to throw away, but a system that drastically reduces waste.

3. Water in glass, never in plastic

In your room, you will find a glass bottle filled with fresh mountain water flowing from our fountain. During meals, the water comes from our local sources. If you decide to go on a hike, you can refill your bottle at the many natural springs scattered throughout the valley.

4. Zero-kilometre cuisine, without plastic

We try to reduce the use of plastic in the kitchen as much as possible. Whenever possible, we buy loose products or items packaged in natural materials such as paper and glass. In addition, many of our ingredients come from our organic garden or from local producers who share our commitment to sustainability. Some of our dishes are prepared with love and passion, avoiding the purchase of packaged products.
