Natura Spensierata was born from a deep love for the environment and the desire to protect it. Even when we lived in the city, we felt the need to lead a low-impact lifestyle, and today this philosophy guides every choice we make. We believe that living in nature does not simply mean admiring it or enjoying outdoor activities, but also caring for it and preserving it for future generations. This deep bond with nature encourages us to marvel at the small gifts it offers, to understand it, and to protect it.
Living here, among the woods of the Vanoi Valley, has taught us that even the smallest gesture matters. That is why, every day, we try to make our passage on Earth as light as possible, adopting sustainable practices that allow our guests to enjoy an authentic and conscious experience.

Our sustainable practices
Organic food with products from Vanoi
We believe in healthy and sustainable food, which is why our breakfasts are made with organic and local ingredients. Every morning, you can enjoy homemade cakes, our jams, bread prepared with carefully selected flours, mountain honey from Vanoi, and other genuine delicacies. We always give preference to small producers from the Vanoi Valley and Primiero, to offer an authentic experience that respects the environment.
For dinner, we offer traditional dishes made with high-quality ingredients, and you can also choose a plant-based option.

100% renewable energy
The electricity we use comes from ACSM, our local supplier, which produces hydroelectric energy certified from renewable sources in the Dolomites. Every kWh consumed is balanced by sustainable production, helping to reduce environmental impact.
For heating domestic hot water, we use solar thermal panels, harnessing the energy of the sun to reduce the consumption of fossil resources.

Plastic free
We have completely eliminated single-use plastic: at breakfast, you will not find unnecessary disposable packaging or plastic bottles.
Fresh mountain spring water is always available, and we choose compostable or reusable materials to keep pollution to a minimum.

Zero food waste
Around the world, food waste is one of the main causes of environmental impact, and we want to do our part. Our breakfasts are not buffet-style, but offered through a choice of menus: this way, we can guarantee freshness, quality, and reduce waste.

In the rooms, you will find only eco-certified and biodegradable personal care products, free from parabens and harmful chemicals for both health and the environment.
We have chosen refillable wall dispensers with natural soaps, eliminating the single-use packaging of pre-packaged toiletry kits in order to reduce plastic pollution and ensure the utmost respect for both the environment and your skin.

Our organic garden
We cultivate a small vegetable garden from which we harvest fresh produce for our recipes.
This allows us to offer genuine zero-kilometre ingredients and reduce the environmental impact linked to food transport.

Water saving
Water is a precious resource, and we use it consciously. We have installed flow reducers on taps and rainwater collection systems for irrigating our organic garden. Guests are invited to contribute through small everyday actions.
Waste separation
We pay close attention to responsible waste management and encourage our guests to do the same. We follow a detailed waste separation system, minimizing unsorted waste and promoting the recycling of materials such as glass, paper, plastic, and organic waste.
Eco-friendly cleaning
To clean the chalet, we use only certified eco-friendly detergents that ensure effectiveness without polluting the environment. All products are carefully selected and certified, ensuring the highest level of compatibility with nature.
